I tried to see the 2009 remake of Fame, about New York students of the performing arts. But it didn't grab me, not at all. It was just a bunch of scenes. The film makers might have watched the 1980 original, but they didn't learn from it.

Hi Stefan, I didn't see the last movie, but had to see the TV programm(my kids were watching it every day and several times) where all the young people were waiting a whole night to maybe have an opportunity to become famous, a very hard thing, teachers were so rude, I thought that I was glad that my kids just watched the serie, but didn't want to participate. I like the first movie too.
