The London Olympics opening ceremony was quite spectacular, of course, but the four hours left me wondering: where was everybody? Not much of a line-up, considering what Great Britain has got in store.

Hallå Stefan, I understand your worry, but this is sports event, so I think that is it OK with just Paul McCartney representing them all. In the opening ceremony of Barcelona 92 together with Montserrat Caballe was Freddy Mercury, in the opening ceremony of the Soccer World Cup in South Africa there was Shakira, so every city or Country chooses what they like to represent them, keep flowing and accept things as they are.
